The story
A writer rents an old farmhouse in the countryside, hoping for quiet and inspiration. The villagers warn that the house is haunted: twenty years ago, a mad woman killed her daughter with a needle to the skull. He dismisses the story, until a call comes at night from a little girl who says it is 2002 and her mother is trying to kill her.
In 2002, young Tina watches her gentle mother unravel after the death of Uncle Liam, who hanged himself in red. Her mother stops cooking and cleaning, then begins carrying a cleaver and screaming that she will kill her. When her grandfather leaves for the seventh-day rites, Tina is left alone with her mother, who slaughters the family cow and eats the raw meat.
Hiding in her grandfather's room, Tina calls her father, but a young man answers and accuses her of running a scam. The phone rings again: the same stranger, now frantic, asks what year it is and tells her to run, because her mother really will kill her.

I was a writer. I rented a place in the countryside to seek inspiration.
The villagers said it was a haunted house. Twenty years ago, a mad woman murdered her daughter by piercing a needle into her skull!
I did not believe it, but I got a call from a little girl that night. She said it was 2002, and her mother was trying to kill her!
