The Unbridled Alpha's Mate

Reese!' My wolf's voice echoed through the distance, reaching the depths of my consciousness. But I struggled to heed his pleas.

'Reese, please stop!' His words grew louder with desperation.

My body trembled with inner conflict as I fought against the overwhelming desire that gripped me.

My breaths came in ragged gasps as I tried to regain control.

'We're going to harm her... we're going to harm our mate. Please, stop!' His final words pierced through the chaos before his presence vanished from my mind.

A new presence began to take shape—a malevolent force demanding my mate's blood in his place.

Confusion enveloped me as I grappled with this sudden transformation as though plunged into a world of darkness with a dim flicker of light urging me to escape.

The sheer idea that I was about to cause her pain made a wave of anguish wash over me, and I could feel my body shattering as a result. But why was this happening to begin with? Why couldn't I stop?
