For three years, June and an unseen pen pal exchanged letters through her best friend Carrie, who carried each envelope between campuses and insisted that never meeting kept their bond pure. At graduation, the class valedictorian, Chase, hands a bouquet of roses to Carrie instead of June, and glowing lines of text appear before June's eyes, revealing that this confession has gone to the wrong girl.
