The story
For five years of marriage, Isabelle has quietly endured Dominic's affair with a young intern, Chloe, even as he prepares to divorce her and sell their home. When she presents him with a prenatal report, he ends things with the girl and returns to being a devoted husband — yet he still sleeps in his study and secretly longs for Chloe.
Six months pregnant, Isabelle watches Chloe arrive at their villa with a wedding invitation, daring Dominic to make her stay. He chases after her, ignoring Isabelle's threat to end the pregnancy, and calls her evil for trying to hold him back.
As Isabelle is rushed to the hospital, bleeding and betrayed, she resolves to make a choice of her own.
