The story
Two years after Nigel Heath rescued Jenna from the sea and helped her keep her family's company, she discovers him with Ruthie Wall, the housekeeper he hired. She learns he killed her parents and is plotting to take the company, and that he has been tampering with her medicine so she cannot have children. When she tries to fire Ruthie, Nigel refuses and demands she accept Ruthie bearing his heir. He takes her phone and confines her to the house, leaving Ruthie to force her to eat trampled food. Jenna is left with nothing, but she knows Nigel's claim that her father killed his father, Paul Heath, is false.
Opening
My parents and younger brother were all murdered. Meanwhile, I leaped into the sea, fighting for my life.
Nigel Heath was the one who saved me from the water.
Before my family's bodies were even recovered, my relatives rushed in, trying to seize control of the company. Again, it was Nigel who helped me hold onto everything.
