The story
During a honeymoon in Florence, a deadly virus breaks out, and Eleanor Vance secures two return tickets through the embassy thanks to her specialized profession. She is pregnant, and her husband Liam had promised her a romantic trip. But when she overhears him on the phone with Sienna, the woman he loved and lost, she learns the truth: he came to Florence for Sienna, who is seven months pregnant and desperate to escape.
In a previous life, Liam took the tickets for Sienna and left Eleanor to die abroad with her unborn child. Now, holding the tickets once more, Eleanor tells Liam there is only one. He searches for it at night and gives it to Sienna, promising to marry her if he survives. Eleanor keeps her own ticket hidden, while her elderly parents beg to fly to her side.
This time, Eleanor holds the power to decide who boards the plane, and the man who once abandoned her has no idea what she has planned.
