I Joined a Dating Sim Game and Got the Horror Boss Instead

In the year 2224, a young woman wins a lottery spot in a romance otome game, where maxing out the male lead's affection meter promises a ten-million credit reward. When the system malfunctions on entry, she relies on her briefing: her target has white hair. She finds him in silver-haired Aaron Wallace, a silent, lonely student who resembles her idol Wayne, and enrolls as his deskmate to pursue him.

Six new girls transfer in, and the homeroom teacher announces the game can begin. That night, the girls draw lots for a key hidden in the dorm manager's room, warning she must return before midnight. In the dark hallway she is chased by a blood-covered boy missing both legs, then crashes into Aaron and clings to him, begging him to be her boyfriend.

He refuses, yet walks her back. Past midnight, the door still opens, and a red key slides out from Mrs. Lawson's room. The woman inside is no longer human, headless and bleeding, though the girl sees none of it.
