The story
Vivian's usually fastidious Ragdoll cat, Muffin, has begun urinating on her husband Michael Kingston's pillow. Scolding fails, the vet finds nothing wrong, and a pet influencer tells her the cat is marking territory because her man smells of a cat in heat. When she confronts Michael, he blames his visiting mother's dog smell.
Vivian goes to his office and finds Jasmine Han, a scholarship student the couple sponsors, cradling a cat and leaning against him. Michael calls it a misunderstanding, but Vivian notices Jasmine's Chanel dress and the catnip necklace she once bought for her dog. She ends Jasmine's internship and job recommendations.
An orange cat then carries fishnet stockings from the office. Michael blames his friend Marcus, but Marcus's wife Gina reveals Marcus was at her mother's house, not the office. Vivian finds large cash withdrawals near Jasmine's university, while Michael comes home early and brushes Muffin.
Opening
My usually fastidious Ragdoll cat has been consistently peeing on my husband's pillow lately. Scolding and even punishment didn't work, and the vet found no issues. Desperate, I consulted a famous pet influencer online. After watching a video I sent, he messaged a single line: "The cat is marking its territory. Your man smells of a cat in heat, and your cat is threatening it by covering the scent with its own urine."
