The story
Stella Starling keeps a love diary, writing down her feelings for Sterling Vance, the brilliant boy who seems to return them. When Aria Sterling, the class president, sends her a video, the truth surfaces: Sterling calls the diary trash and says he only used Stella to make Aria jealous, and Aria tells her plainly that Sterling belongs to her.
Stella does not cry or make a scene. She asks her brother to transfer her to another school, stepping out of their world. Sterling never confessed; the tutoring, the closeness, all of it was an act aimed at Aria.
Eight years later, Sterling searches the whole city for her, while a top star's wedding and a secret account full of love diary entries draw every eye.
Opening
During the years I believed in pure love, I wrote a love diary every day.
Sterling Vance pretended he didn't care about anything.
But when I asked him what he wanted for his birthday, he blushed and blurted out that he wanted my diary.
My heart was so sweet it could burst.
Until the class president, Aria Sterling, sent me a video—
In the first part of the video, there was my diary, filled with words I had written stroke by stroke.
