The story
Reborn after being tortured to death, Chloe Vance wakes on the day her roommate Tiffany uses a System to swap their finances and pose as a wealthy heiress. In her past life, Chloe's parents' money always showed as $300 in her account while Tiffany spent it, and the star quarterback Matt helped destroy her. This time she refuses her allowance and takes out predatory loans, watching the debt land in Tiffany's name.
When Tiffany and Matt corner her with flyers and demand she work and treat them, Chloe agrees to live on $300 a month and donates her designer clothes instead of selling them. Then she learns her driver Uncle Mike is Matt's father, and that the necklace Matt borrowed at orientation may be the key to the System.
Chloe removes the necklace and calls her father to fire Uncle Mike. The tightness in her chest fades, and she resolves to see how long Tiffany can keep up her act with a massive debt on her back.
